“Nick was one of the first players that we reached out to once we found out that the USPHL was going to have the NCDC division. Nick played for me over the summer in a showcase and I really liked his game. He competes and can put the puck away, which is a nice duo to have as a hockey player” said GM/Head Coach Dave Leaderer.
Charron is part of a common trend that is happening in Rochester. A lot of the top area players are coming home to be a part of this great new tradition that has started in Rochester. “After leaving home for the last two years, I was ready to return home while still having the chance to play competitive hockey. Coach Dave Leaderer and the Rochester Monarchs gave me the opportunity to do that. I’m extremely excited to get to work this year and reunite with a couple old teammates. I’m looking forward to meeting all the boys and help build this great new program in Rochester.” – Nick Charron.
