Premier Division Players of the Week

In our Premier division our top leaders come from the South Shore Kings and Carolina Eagles organizations.  Here is a bit more about our winners-

Top Forward of the Week - #23 Tommy Giandomenico, South Shore Kings

First year South Shore Kings Forward Tommy Giandomenico leads the team with 9 goals and 7 assists in 9 games.  Tommy's impact has been crucial to multiple late game wins for us this season. His hockey IQ and patience with the puck, along with his quickness make him a natural goal scorer.

Top Goalie of the Week - #33 Matthew Forslund, Carolina Eagles

Matthew Forslund is a 1997 Goaltender from Apex, NC.  With roots in Massachusetts, Forslund moved to Carolina when his dad took a job with the Carolina Hurricanes NHL Team.  Matthew played AAA hockey for the Hurricanes and played a year of juniors for the Eagles before heading to Canada last season to play Tier 2 for Turo Bearcats.  Returning for his final season of Juniors,  Forslund is a high end goaltender who competes hard and is technically sound.  He has a 4.75 GPA and 1350 SAT Scores and is interested in strong academic colleges.

Keep up the great work guys!  Stay tuned to next Wednesday when we release next week’s top Premier players!
