Week 2 - Premier Players of the Week

In our Premier division our top leaders come from the Springfield Pics and Carolina Eagles organizations.  Here is a bit more about our winners-

Top Forward of the Week – #16 Alexander Peresunko, Springfield Pics

Alexander Peresunko has been on a tear for the Springfield Pics Premier squad. He is currently the leading goal and point scorer in the entire USPHL Premier Division.  Peresunko has scored in nine of the 11 games his squad has played this season. However, in the last week, he has erupted, with four straight multi-point games at the Cyclones Showcase. He notched three goals and two assists in two games against the Syracuse Stars before erupting for five goals against the New York Aviators, and finished the weekend with another goal and an assist against the host Northern Cyclones. Peresunko's speed, smarts, and shot will likely continue tormenting goalkeepers throughout the season as he leads the Pics toward the top of the Premier Division.

Top Goalie of the Week - #31 Karl Zodda, Carolina Eagles

Karl Zodda who hails from Lehi, UT is a 1998 DOB goaltender who played last season for Coach Pat Bingham and the Colorado Rampage.  In the past week, he stopped 49 of 49 shots to earn a 1-0 overtime win over defending champion Charlotte Rush. Zodda continues to amaze us with his spectacular saves and is a huge contributor to the Eagles team.

Keep up the great work guys!  Check back weekly for our top performers!
