Chris Wagner wins NHL Bruins 7th Player Award for 2019!

Former King and Walpole, Ma native was selected via fan vote.
 

The South Shore Kings would like to congratulate Chris Wagner for recieving the Bruins 7th Player Award. This award is presented annually to a Bruins player who exceeds expectations and goes above and beyond.

Wagner (Walpole, MA), who is in his 7th season of professional hockey,  played his youth hockey for the '91 Kings and then played for the Kings in the Eastern Junior Hockey League in 2009-2010. Wagner led the league in scoring that season with 83 points in 44 regular season games. He played along side current Bruins' forward and Weymouth, MA native Charlie Coyle the same season for the Kings. Both Wagner and Coyle were drafted in the summer of 2010.

The Walpole, Ma native is having a career season for the team he grew up watching. In 75 games played, Wagner has recorded 12 goals and 6 assists along with 51 penalty minutes. His 245 hits leads the team in hits and is also good for ninth in the entire league.
