Tyler Fredrick To Suit Up For Cherokee (Defensemen Spent All Last Season With Northview HS)

Toledo Ohio:      The Toledo Cherokee proud members of the USPHL Premier (Great Lakes Conference) are excited to announce the signing of first year defenseman Tyler Fredrick for the 2019-2020 season.

The Sylvania OH native spent last season with the Northview Wildcats HS team. In thirty games he scored four goals and added eight assists for twelve points with fifty four penalty minutes.

"Tyler is a really good skating defenseman that will be good at moving the puck up ice for us to start our offense who can also play with an edge." Said head coach Kenny Miller

The 5'10 160 pounder spent most of his youth hockey playing at the Team Toledo Ice House for the 2001 Cherokee team before playing at Northview. "Freddy is another kid I watched grow up at the rink. He has matured into a really good player and kid I am excited about coaching him this season." Added Miller

Fredrick joins, Reese Boehme, Zeth Stelmaszak, Bailey Byrd, Justin Maroszek, Bryce Davis, Mason Snyder and Anthony Weinrich as players committed to the Cherokee for the 2019-2020 season. Please check the Cherokee website for more player signings.
