As United States Premier Hockey League teams get closer to narrowing down their roster lists for the 2019-20 season, the annual USPHL Summer Showcase plays a big part in that process.

Schedule for 2019 USPHL Summer Showcase

The USPHL Showcase, to be held this weekend (July 12-14) at New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass., will feature a minimum of two teams from each National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) organization.

These teams heavily utilize the USPHL Summer Showcase to prepare for the next league-mandated roster trim on Aug. 1. College hockey teams also scout the Summer Showcase as they get first looks at players who they may see again in the USPHL during the 2019-20 regular season.

There will also be teams from the USPHL Premier, USPHL Elite and full-season Midget Divisions utilizing the Summer Showcase to test their prospects for the upcoming season.

Teams play two 25-minute halves on Friday and Saturday to determine standings for the Sunday playoffs. Playoff games are 30-minute mini-games.

Each Showcase Division will see a playoff champion crowned on Sunday morning/afternoon.

Don’t miss your chance to see some of the top talent in Junior and Midget hockey chasing the ultimate summer prize - a regular season roster spot.

Watch USPHL.com for daily updates once the Showcase is underway. All games will also be broadcast on HockeyTV.com (subscription service).
