U16: Utica Jr. Comets 5, Northern Cyclones Academy Elite 1
The Comets earned their second win and were hunting for a 3-0 record with their match at 3:50 p.m. today.
NCDC White: Northern Cyclones White 4, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders Blue 2
Four different goal-scorers helped the White team to its first win of the tournament.
Premier: P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 5, Skipjacks White 2
Sam Mitchell scored a pair of goals as the Islanders won their second of the tournament.
U18: New Jersey Rockets 6, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 0
The Rockets improved to 2-0 in the 18U tournament, helped in large part by a hat trick from Ralfs Bergmanis.
Premier: Connecticut Nighthawks 9, Northern Cyclones 3
The Nighthawks picked up their first win, breaking a 3-3 tie with six unanswered goals, three of those scored towards the end of the first half.
Premier: Springfield Pics 8, Skipjacks Orange 2
Similar to the previous Nighthawks-Cyclones game, the winning team broke a tie (2-2) with six straight goals. All of the Pics' last six goals came in the second half. The win gave the Pics a 2-0 record in the Premier Division.
NCDC Green: Northern Cyclones Red 4, Utica Comets Red 1
Mike Mackenzie scored a pair of goals for the Cyclones Red team, which improved to 1-1 on the weekend.
NCDC Green: Hitmen Carolina 4, New Jersey Rockets White 1
Four different goal-scorers helped the Hitmen Carolina team to a 2-0 record.
U18: Jersey Hitmen 5, Jersey Shore Whalers 0
The Hitmen clinched their spot in Sunday's playoffs with a 3-0 record.
NCDC White: Connecticut Jr. Rangers White 6, Twin City Thunder Black 1
Spencer Flansburg scored two goals and one assist to help the Rangers to a 2-0 record in the tournament.
NCDC Green: P.A.L. Jr. Islanders White 3, Connecticut Jr. Rangers Black 2
The P.A.L. White squad clinched a 3-0 round robin record. Ryan Trom earned two goals and one assist in the winning effort.
NCDC Blue: P.A.L. Jr. Islanders Orange 8, Connecticut Jr. Rangers Red 0
Anthony Bernardo scored two goals to help the P.A.L. Orange team to a 2-0 record. Patrik Lietava earned the shutout in net.
NCDC White: Jersey Hitmen Navy 5, South Shore Kings Gold 0
The Hitmen Navy team improved to 2-0, matching the Connecticut Jr. Rangers' record but holding the lead in the division with a better goal differential.
NCDC Red: South Shore Kings Green 3, Boston Junior Bruins Gold 1
James Zegel scored a pair of goals for the Kings, to become the first team to go 2-0 in the Red Division.
U16: Connecticut Jr. Rangers 6, Springfield Pics 0
Robbie Jolliffe scored a pair of goals and one assist for the Rangers' victory. They stand at 2-1 alongside many other teams with the same record.
NCDC Red: New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs Purple 5, Boston Bandits Black 1
The Monarchs moved to 1-1 with their first victory, while the Bandits' loss gave them a similar record.
U16: Northern Cyclones Academy Premier 4, Junior Bruins 2
The Junior Bruins and Cyclones Academy Premier teams ended the round robin with matching 2-1 records, standing as two of the four teams with that mark with one game left in the division.
U16: Skipjacks White 3, Northern Cyclones Academy Elite 1
All four goals were scored in the second half. The Skipjacks White were one of the four teams in the U16 Division with 2-1 records.
Elite: Junior Bruins 6, Jersey Hitmen 2
Avery Riva scored a goal and an assist as the Junior Bruins and Hitmen each finished with 2-1 records in the round robin. All four teams in the round robin will be in the Sunday playoffs, with the top-seeded Junior Bruins playing the fourth-seeded Pics, and the second-seeded Hitmen facing the No. 3 seed Whalers.
NCDC Red: Utica Jr. Comets Black 5, Rochester Monarchs Gold 1
The Comets scored all but one goal in the first half, and moved to 1-1 in the tournament.
NCDC Red: Connecticut Jr. Rangers Blue 6, Twin City Thunder Green 3
The Rangers improved to 2-0 in the tournament, setting up a winner take all game for the playoff berth for the Red Division at 6 p.m. Saturday evening vs. South Shore Kings Green.
NCDC White: Boston Bandits Red 7, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders Blue 0
2019 NCDC All-Star goalie Connor McAnanama earned the shutout win, and Billy Hefferle scored two goals one added one assist, all three points coming in the second half.
The Bandits Red team went 2-0 to that point, one of three teams in the division to have that record. Nothing will be decided for the White Division until the end of Saturday night.
NCDC Blue: Junior Bruins White 6, Northern Cyclones Black 0
The Junior Bruins White moved to 2-0, identical to the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders Orange, and were set to fight for that playoff spot at 7:50 p.m. Saturday.
NCDC Blue: Utica Jr. Comets White 6, New Jersey Rockets Red 3
Six different goal-scorers lifted the Comets White team to a 1-1 record, which matched the Rockets Red team mark.
Elite: Jersey Shore Whalers 8, Springfield Pics 6
A real barnburner gave the Whalers their second win in a 2-1 round robin stand.
Premier: Connecticut Nighthawks 4, Skipjacks White 3
The Nighthawks scored the game-winner with 23 seconds remaining on the clock. That win put them into the playoffs on Sunday against the Springfield Pics at 9:20 a.m.
U18: Junior Bruins 6, Northern Cyclones Academy 3
The Junior Bruins took a 4-1 lead in the first 25 minutes. Nicholas Salvatore scored two goals as the Junior Bruins pushed their way into the Sunday playoffs. The No. 3 seed, they will face the No. 2 New Jersey Rockets at 9:10 a.m.
U18: Connecticut Jr. Rangers 2, Springfield Pics 1
Sam Bracchi scored the game-winning goal with 56 seconds remaining, giving the Connecticut Jr. Rangers the fourth and final U18 playoff spot for Sunday. They play at 9 a.m. vs. the top-seeded Jersey Hitmen.
U16: Utica Jr. Comets 6, Skipjacks Blue 1
Six different goal-scorers propelled the Comets to the win, and the top seed in the U16 playoffs on Sunday. They will face the fourth-seeded Connecticut Jr. Rangers at 9 a.m.
Premier: Northern Cyclones 6, Skipjacks Orange 3
The Cyclones (2-1) clinched the No. 4 seed in the Premier tournament, and will take on the No. 1 seed P.A.L. Jr. Islanders (3-0).
Premier: P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 3, Springfield Pics 2
John King scored the game-winning goal for the Islanders with 10:22 remaining and the team held off a late charge by Springfield to clinch a 3-0 record. The Pics captured the second seed and will face the Nighthawks.
NCDC Red: South Shore Kings Green 1, Connecticut Jr. Rangers Blue 0
With this 1-0 win, the Kings clinched a spot in Sunday's playoffs by going 3-0 in the round robin.
NCDC Red: Boston Bandits Black 3, Twin City Thunder Green 1
The Bandits finished with a 2-1 record and had a shot as of late Saturday night to make the playoffs. Daniel Schnack scored the game-winning goal.
U18: Jersey Hitmen 4, New Jersey Rockets 3
The Hitmen went undefeated at 4-0 and clinched the top seed in Sunday's U18 playoffs. They face the Connecticut Jr. Rangers at 9 a.m.
NCDC Green: New Jersey Rockets White 7, Connecticut Jr. Rangers Black 3
The Rockets White team finished the round robin with a 2-1 record, but it was not enough to make playoffs in a division with two 3-0 teams.
NCDC White: Islanders Hockey Club Blue 2, Northern Cyclones White 2
The Islanders and Cyclones finished their showcase with a tie. The Cyclones went 1-1-1.
NCDC Green: Jersey Hitmen Carolina 3, Utica Jr. Comets Red 2
Matiss Petrovics scored the game-winner for the Hitmen 14 seconds into the second half. The Hitmen finished with a 3-0 record, and just barely edged out the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders White in goals against (4-9).
NCDC Blue: New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs White 3, Connecticut Jr. Rangers Red 1
The Monarchs finished the showcase with a 2-1 record.
NCDC Blue: P.A.L. Jr. Islanders Orange 4, New Jersey Rockets Red 2
James Leva scored a natural hat trick to end this game in the Jr. Islanders' favor, giving the team a 3-0 record.
NCDC Blue: Northern Cyclones Black 4, Rochester Jr. Monarchs Navy 3
Both teams finished 1-2 for the Summer Showcase.
NCDC White: Islanders Hockey Club White 3, Jersey Hitmen Navy 3
The Islanders rebounded from being down 3-1 to get the tie.
NCDC Green: Northern Cyclones Red 7, Islanders Hockey Club Orange 4
The Cyclones saw seven different goal-scorers as they finished with their second win for a 2-1 Summer Showcase stand.
NCDC Red: Junior Bruins Gold 3, Rochester Monarchs Gold 2
The Junior Bruins won the game with 13 seconds remaining on the clock for their first win of the Summer Showcase.
NCDC Red: New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs Purple 7, Utica Jr. Comets Black 1
The Monarchs scored seven goals in a row for the win and a 2-1 Summer Showcase record.
NCDC White: Boston Bandits Red 7, Twin City Thunder Black 3
Jared Thomas scored two goals to help the Bandits Red finish 3-0 and earn a spot in Sunday's playoffs.
NCDC White: South Shore Kings Gold 4, Connecticut Jr. Rangers White 4
The Connecticut Jr. Rangers scored the game-tying goal with 3:37 remaining in the game to salvage the tie. The Rangers finished 2-0-1, and the Kings came away with a 1-1-1 weekend.
NCDC Blue: Junior Bruins White 4, Utica Comets White 1
The Junior Bruins won a playoff spot with this game, clinching it by having one fewer goal against than the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders Orange team.
