Top Gun, Flames, Eagles Win EHF Selects Tier 1 Championships

Top Gun 18U, Minuteman Flames 16U and the Boston Junior Eagles 15U teams all won their respective divisions at the EHF Selects Playoffs this past weekend. The playoffs were held at New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass.

In the 18U division playoffs, Top Gun beat the Baystate Breakers 4-1 in the final. Campbell Pierce and Max Giardina each had a goal and an assist for Top Gun and Chris Kolodziej and Kory Ouellette each lit the lamp as well. Jake Fleet had the lone goal for the Breakers.

In the 15U playoffs, the Boston Junior Eagles beat the Islanders Hockey Club 6-5 in overtime. Matt Conte scored the overtime winner 3:16 into the extra frame. 

James Koo had two goals, Jimmy Fallon and Conte each had a goal and an assist, and Patrick Schultz lit the lamp as well. Shane Dunn had two helpers for the Eagles. 

Aidan Holland had a goal and two assists for the Islanders, and Jason Cooke, Kai Roberto, Connor Horn and Will Van Sickling all lit the lamp for the Isles.
