"I didn't think we played well at all the first two periods and it showed on the scoreboard being down two to one after two periods but our guys battled and found a way to score a power-play goal to get things tied up in the third and we were able to take the game over after that." Said head coach Kenny Miller

Toledo goaltender Mason Snyder (Sylvania OH) made thirty-seven saves for the Cherokee and picked up his ninth win of the season.

The Cherokee finally return home this weekend when they host the Lansing Wolves on Friday night at 7:00PM at the Team Toledo Ice House. The two teams will wrap up the home and home series when the Cherokee travel to Lansing on Saturday night. Face-off is set for 7:30PM

"We are excited about getting back home and playing in front of our fans, it has been a long time since we played a game at the Ice House so I know I guys are really looking forward to it." Added Miller
