TOLEDO CHEROKEE HOME FRIDAY NIGHT
(HOST THE LANSING WOLVES THEN TRAVEL TO LANSING ON SATURDAY)
Toledo OH: The Toledo Cherokee proud members of the USPHL Premier division of the Great Lakes Conference return action this Friday night when they play host to the Lansing Wolves at the Team Toledo Ice House. Face off is set for 7:00PM.
The two teams will then wrap up the two game set on Saturday in Lansing. Puck will drop at 7:30PM
Toledo returns to the Ice House after being away since Friday November 22nd when they hosted these same Wolves and skated away with a 7-0 victory.
"It's been a long time since we played at home so the guys are excited to get back and play in front of our families and fans as we head down the stretch here in late January." Said head coach Kenny Miller
The Cherokee are coming off a weekend where they picked up two points by defeating the Columbus Mavericks by a score of 6-3 Saturday night in Columbus.
Toledo has nine games remaining in the regular season and seven of those will be on home ice. "We've played a lot of road games the last two months so for us to finish with seven of our last nine here at home will be good for us as we head into the playoffs." Added Miller
