SOUTHGATE, Mich. – Marc Alexander’s goal 41 seconds into overtime lifted the Motor City Hockey Club to a 5-4 win over the Detroit Fighting Irish Wednesday night at the Southgate Civic Center.
Austin Kissel chipped in with two goals and an assist, while Alexander had an assist for a two-point game.
Kinsly Trivisonno and Ian Corless also scored and Slava Pinin and Motor City captain Tiago Ramirez tacked on a pair of assists apiece.
In goal, Numa Binding and Ethan Hennessy combined to make 48 saves.
Motor City next plays on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Jack Adams Arena in Detroit, hosting the Fighting Irish at 6:20 p.m.
