The Pittsburgh Vengeance are proud to announce that forward August Bouveng has committed to play hockey at NCAA Division III Anna Maria.
The Amcats are a NCAA Division III independent team located in Paxton, Mass. Bouveng, a Nynashamn, Sweden-born forward, was a two-year player for the Vengeance excelling both on and off the ice. Bouveng put up 21 goals and 32 assists for 53 points in his two years for the Vengeance while serving as an alternate captain this past season.
"This is a quality person and as a player he'll be hard to replace in our program," said General Manager David Dorsey. "He's a class act, loyal and a cerebral hockey player which is a very tough combination to find anymore," added Dorsey.
