Irish add Experience and Speed to Line Up

The Detroit Fighting Irish added experience and speed to thier line up today as they announced the signing of veteran forward Seth Robbins.  Robbins is a 2000 Birthdate and has several years of Junior experience. The Speedy forward played last season for the WSHL Seattle Totems and the previous year at DME Academy in the USPHL. Premier South Division 

"Seth brings a veteran presence on and off the ice he is a player whom we have known for a while and we are very glad to have as part of our squad" stated Head Coach David Taylor. 'Robbins is from our back yard , he is a Downriver player and played his youth hockey here and was part of the same Airport High School Squad that produced Irish Captain Clay Hightower and team mate  Drew Wooten as well as Irish Alumni Dalton Cummings and Ethan Cagle. We are happy that Seth has become part of the Irish and we are excited that his friends and family will be able to watch him play his final year at the Junior level here in familiar surroundings" stated Irish Asst GM  Sam Shaheen.

"I am looking forward to this season with a lot of excitement it's going to be great to reunite with my former team mates and to have a chance for my family to be in the stands to be part of the experience. I think the experience that I gained playing my previous years will help me to be a contributor on and off the ice for the Irish".stated Robbins

Robbins and his Fighting Irish team mates will begin training camp this next week on September 8th , the team's exhibition schedule will be announced in the next few days  with USPHL league play beginning  October 6th with a 4 game weekend at the Great Lakes Showcase in Fraser Michigan.
