USPHL Premier Players Of The Week: North Region

Forward: Markus Odermatt, Philadelphia Hockey Club

The 2000-born native of London, U.K., is up to old tricks. After posting 49 points in 42 games last season in his first run with Philadelphia, Odermatt has posted an amazing four goals and five assists in nine points, in his 2020-21 opener on Oct. 2. Adding one more assists gives him 10 points for an early points per game average of 5.00. 


Defense: Matt Pelletier, Springfield Pics

Pelletier (‘01/Bellingham, Mass.) continues on his way after his first junior weekend at the BJB Shootout with an active three-game point streak. He has posted five assists, with two multi-helper outings as the Pics jumped out to a 3-0 record for its 2020-21 start. 


Goaltender: Owen Przybylo, Twin City Thunder 

Przybylo (‘01/Royal Oak, Mich.) put together a 2-0 weekend, stopping 82 of 87 shots at the BJB Shootout. The former Lawrence Tech University player earned his first junior win with 49 saves on 51 shots by the Bridgewater Jr. Bandits. It should also be noted that the Thunder’s goalie duo is on fire, as Sean Piotrowicz earned a 24-save shutout win in his first junior game.
