The Northern Colorado Eagles are proud to announce that Eagles forward Brennan McFarland has committed to Saint Michael's College NCAA hockey program for the 2021-2022 season.
The veteran forward spent the past three seasons and his entire junior hockey career with the Eagles organization. The Greeley, Colorado native caps off a strong junior hockey career. In 121 games played, McFarland's 141 points place him fourth-all time in franchise history and his 60 goals are good for fifth all-time in franchise history.
"I'm very thankful for my time with and around the Eagles organization. I feel I've grown not only as a player but as a man as well. I am extremely excited for the next chapter of my career at Saint Michael's." said McFarland.
"McFarland 's work ethic, drive and commitment each day, add to his ultra competitive nature will definitely give him an edge when he competes for ice time as a freshman next season. Myself and the organization would like to thank him for all his hard work on and off the ice, as well as in the community. We wish him all the best in his next chapter," said Head Coach and GM Steve Haddon.
McFarland is the second Eagle player to commit to Saint Michael's College for the 2021-22 season, joining teammate Case Kantgias, who committed last month.
The organization has a lot of work to do to be ready for the 2021-2022 season. If you would like to be a sponsor, billet family or would like to be an intern or volunteer any interests in joining the Northern Colorado Eagles family, please contact us via the email addresses below.
