Richmond Generals Alumni Forward Charles Massey (6'1/200 LW '00) committed to Univ. of Wisconsin-Stout. The Blue Devils play at the NCAA Division 3 level of play in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
Massey played for the Generals USPHL Premier team during the 2019-2020, appearing in 30 regular season games scoring 8 goals and adding 11 assists for 19 points with 12 PIM. Massey also appeared in two playoff games for the Generals adding one assist for one point.
The Generals helped place Massey with the Dauphin Kings for the 2020-2021 season who play in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League ( MJHL). The Kings are a Tier 2 Junior A team that is part of the CJHL in Canada. Massey led their team in points and goals with a stat line of six games played scoring seven goals and adding three assists for 10 points. The Kings season was cut short unfortunately this year due to Covid restrictions in Canada.

They helped me grow and develop my game both on and off the ice so I could get to the next level and sign with the Dauphin Kings. Massey became the 13th current or former Generals Player to commit to a college hockey program for next year. Carter joins Matt Wood (Utica College NCAA Division 3) , Brennan Luckanish (Arcadia NCAA Division 3), Nathan Solis (St. Mary's University NCAA Division 3), Mike Krupinski (UMass-Boston NCAA Division 3), Anthony Morin (Buffalo State NCAA Division 3), Hayden Clark (UW-Stout NCAA Division 3), Carter Jordan (Wilkes University NCAA Division 3), Luke Houk (University of Delaware ACHA Division 1), Jake Burke (Ohio University ACHA Division 1), Ryan Murphy (William Paterson University ACHA Division 1), Will Grupp (George Mason University ACHA Division 1), Carter McCormack (West Chester University ACHA Division 1).
