Announcing The 2020-21 USPHL Premier Great Lakes Division All Stars

The USPHL is proud to announce the Great Lakes Division All-Stars for 2020-21. Best of luck to all of these players in their future endeavors on and off the ice! 

Listed in alphabetical order:

 

 

Jadon Barron, Lake Erie Bighorns (F ‘02 Randolph, N.Y.)

Barron had a share of the team scoring lead, posting 12 goals and 45 points, one of them a game winner. Barron scored three goals and collected 13 points on powerplay opportunities, and he also fired a goal while shorthanded.

Kyle Burke, Wooster Oilers (D ‘02 Dexter, Mich.)

Burke fired nine goals and collected 24 points in 42 games with the Oilers and two of those goals were game winners. Five goals and nine points came on Oilers’ powerplays and Burke added another goal while shorthanded.

 

Bailey Byrd, Toledo Cherokee (F ‘01 Wyandotte, Mich.)

Byrd led the Cherokee in scoring, notching 26 goals and 60 points in 39 games with three of those goals winning games, including one in a shootout. Byrd fired four goals and collected 12 points on power plays and added three shorthanded goals.

 

Matt Cole, Metro Jets (F ‘02 Saginaw, Mich.)

Cole scored 18 goals and picked up 45 points in 42 games with the Jets, three of the goals being game-winners. Cole notched a goal and four points on powerplays and added a goal and assist while shorthanded. 

 

Joey Cormier, Toledo Cherokee (G ‘01 Brownstown, Mich.)

In 20 regular season games for the Cherokee, Cormier posted a record of 11-7-1. Beaten just 46 times on 616 shots, Cormier posted a Goals Against Average of 2.63 and Save Percentage of .925.

 

Louis-Pierre Fortier, Metro Jets (G ‘01 Montreal, Que.)

Fortier was used in tandem for the Jets, appearing in 23 games and posting a record of 21-1-1-0. Beaten just 37 times on 523 shots, Fortier posted a Goals Against Average of 1.63 and a Save Percentage of .929 with four shutouts.

 

Connor Graham, Metro Jets (F ‘00 Lake Orion, Mich.)

Graham picked up 19 goals and 48 points in 41 games this season, including three game winners. Five goals and 12 points came on powerplays.

 

Joey Johnson, Metro Jets (D ‘00 Midland, Mich.)

Johnson scored eight goals including a pair of winners and totaled 36 points with the Jets. He notched four goals and 10 points while on powerplay and a goal and two assists while shorthanded. 

 

Andrew Kelly, Pittsburgh Vengeance (G ‘00 Hatfield, Pa.)  

In 15 games between the pipes through the regular season, Kelly posted a record of 10-4-0-1. Kelly stopped all but 43 on 477 shots for a Save Percentage of .910 and he earned two shutouts along the way.

 

Zack Kent, Lake Erie Bighorns (D ‘02 West Seneca, N.Y.) – Kent shared the team scoring lead with 17 goals and 45 points including a trio of game winning markers. Five goals and 14 points came on Bighorn power plays.

 

Lucas Kirk, Pittsburgh Vengeance (F ‘00 Pittsburgh, Pa.)

Kirk was one of two Vengeance players to appear in 43 games this season, leading the team with 19 goals and 44 points including six game winners. Four goals and 12 points came on power play situations for Kirk.

 

Tim Kramer, Columbus Mavericks (D ‘02 Columbus, Ohio)

Kramer collected 13 goals and 35 points with two game winners for the Mavericks. Two goals and three assists came on power plays and Kramer added a shorthanded marker.

 

Tim Organ, Toledo Cherokee (D ‘00 Lambertville, Mich.)

The Trine recruit Organ played in 28 games with the Cherokee, scoring 10 goals and picking up 38 points, three of the goals game winners. Organ scored twice and added seven assists on power plays adding a goal and two assists while shorthanded and he sat only eight minutes for infractions himself.

 

Deric Richison, Columbus Mavericks (F ‘00 Canal Winchester, Ohio)

Richison led the Mavs in scoring with 26 goals and 55 points in 43 games with a pair of game winners. On power play opportunities, Richison collected four goals and 13 points while adding a shorthanded assist.

 

Sebastian Smith, Wooster Oilers (F ‘02 Pinckney, Mich.)

Smith put up 25 goals and 49 points for the Oilers to lead the team and he also led the way on special teams with four goals and 11 points. He shared the league lead with a half dozen shorthanded markers and his value shows up in his ice time totals, averaging over 22 minutes per game.

 

Carter Stensland, Pittsburgh Vengeance (D ‘00 Paw Paw, Mich.)

Stensland played 36 games with the Vengeance, scoring five goals, and picking up 24 points. One of the goals and nine points came on Vengeance powerplays.

 

Evan Victor, Pittsburgh Vengeance (F ‘02 Pittsburgh, Pa.)

Victor scored 25 goals and collected 40 points in 41 games with the Vengeance including a game winning marker. Six of his goals along with four assists came on powerplays and Victor sat just six minutes for penalties this season.

 

Drew Welsch, Toledo Cherokee (F ‘00 Trenton, Mich.)

In 27 games with the Cherokee, Welsch counted 21 goals and 35 points including three game winners. He notched four goals and a dozen points while on powerplay and was assessed just two minor penalties.
