Forward: Owen Norman, Potomac Patriots 

Norman (‘04/Oro-Medonte, Ont.) picked up eight points over the four USPHL Florida College Showcase. He started with a goal against Tampa and an assist against Palm Beach. He added two goals against Atlanta and finished off with his piece de resistance against the Florida Jr. Blades, posting a hat trick and an assist. Overall, Norman has 17 points in 11 games. 

 

Defense: Chase Wainman, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes 

Wainman (‘02/Weston, Fla.) was all over the place for Carolina, doling out seven hits and registering a +2 in Florida, all while chipping in offensively with two assists as the Jr. Canes went 3-1 at the showcase. With 22 points in 27 games, Wainman is tied for sixth in defenseman scoring in the USPHL Elite. 

 

Goaltender: Sam Edmands, Charlotte Rush

Facing the top two teams in the Florida Division at the USPHL Florida College Showcase, Edmands (‘03/Richmond Hill, Ont.) came up diamonds, stopping 70 of the 72 shots he faced against the Tampa Bay Juniors and the Florida Eels. In fact, he stopped all 35 the Eels put on him for a massive shutout win. He is now 11-1-0-0 with a 2.00 goals against average and a .935 save percentage. 

 

Florida Division

Forward: Jayden Price, Atlanta MadHatters

Price (‘04/Woodstock, Ga.) is a rising talent in the Elite Division, posting two goals and one assist at the USPHL Florida College Showcase. He scored a shorthanded goal against Potomac and had a 1-1-2 line against a strong Charlotte Rush side as well. Overall, Price has 26 points in 27 games. 

 

Defense: Braeden Bzovey, Florida Eels

The Eels put together a strong 3-1 run at the Florida Showcase, with Bzovey standing tall on the blue line. He put up a goal and four assists over the four days, offensively, and he was a +2 with four hits as well in the showcase. Bzovey is tied for sixth in defenseman scoring with Chase Waiman with 22 points in 26 games. 

 

Goaltender: Matthew Schoer, Florida Eels

Schoer (‘01/Long Valley, N.J.) stopped 54 of 58 shots against him in two games at the USPHL Florida College Showcase, earning wins against the Islanders Hockey Club and Carolina Jr. Hurricanes. She is 8-2-0-0 with a 1.60 goals against average and a .950 save percentage.
