The Wakefield, MA, native is in his first season with the Junior Bruins Premier team after playing most recently for the Green Bay Gamblers. He had also played with the Little Bruins midget team in addition to two seasons at Kimball Union Academy.
This season, McCarthy has eight goals and three assists (11 points) in 16 games.
“I'm very happy for Jack. He has been with our program part time for a few years and joined us full-time earlier this year,” stated Bruins head coach Mike Anderson. “He really wants to go to college next fall and the opportunity to play at Trinity and be a big part of their success makes sense.”
McCarthy will be one of the four USPHL alumni on the Bantams next season.
