Springfield Pics Tyler Scroggins Makes NCAA Choice

The Springfield Pics are proud to announce that forward Tyler Scroggins has committed to Tufts University for the fall. The Allen, TX native is a graduate of the Williston-Northampton School , and currently has 19 goals with 19 assists for 38 points in 39 USPHL games.
 
 
“I’m extremely happy to be playing college hockey at Tufts University the next four years. Going to Tufts will allow me to receive an exceptional education, and allow me to play for a great hockey program. I would like to personally thank Coach Tabb and the Springfield Pics organization for being a great help in the recruiting process and for developing me as a player on the ice and as a person off the ice this past year. I would also like to thank my family, friends, and previous coaches; without their commitment and endless support over the years Tufts wouldn’t have even been an option.” Said Tyler Scroggins
 
Scroggins will join Pics Alumni Brian Brown, David Lackner and current Concannon Award Semi-Finalist Sean Kavanagh on the current Tufts roster.
 
“ We would like to congratulate Tyler and his family on this accomplish. When you have the opportunity to combine academics and athletics to gain acceptance to such a selective University and compete in the NESCAC night in and night out it’s a great accomplishment.
