The Pawling, NY, native is in his second season with the Junior Bruins Premier team after playing three seasons at prep school powerhouse Avon Old Farms.
This season, Loizeaux has posted three goals and seven assists (10 points) from the blue line in 41 games.
"I am very happy for Sam. Skidmore is a great fit academically and I believe Sam will have a chance to step in there right away and make a big contribution on the ice,” said Bruins head coach Mike Anderson. “He has been a terrific teammate here for two years and we have really enjoyed having Sam Loizeaux in our program. I know he's going to be great at the next level."
Loizeaux will join current teammate Andrew Popp and former Bruin Andy Michailidis on the Thoroughbreds roster next season.
