Chicago Cougars Utility Man Makes NCAA DIII Commitment

By Cougars Staff, 03/19/16, 7:00PM EDT

Chicago Cougars Utility man Mike Sullivan has committed to play his college hockey at Daniel Webster College. The NCAA Division 3 school in Nashua, NH will be joining the newly formed NEHC Conference next season (former ECAC East) and elevating their level of competition.
Sullivan should be up for the challenge, one of the Cougars hottest competitors, Sullivan brings a lot of passion to his game and plays a skilled 2-way game. Versatile and smart enough to play both Forward and Defense, Sullivan isn't afraid to do whatever is asked of him to benefit the team.

Originally from Chicago, Sullivan played AAA hockey growing up before playing for the Janesville Jets in the NAHL and being named team captain there. A medical condition sidelined Sullivan for nearly two years before being cleared again to play. Sullivan came to the Cougars and had an immediate impact on the locker room and the ice and will now continue to impact those around him at the college level.

This is the 2nd NCAA Division 3 committed player for the Cougars young roster this inaugural season and we can't be more thrilled to wish Sully the best of luck in his NCAA career!
