Palm Beach Elite Player Commits to NCAA DIII Minnesota School
Palm Beach, FL- The Palm Beach Hawks are proud to announce the commitment of defenseman Derek Camenga to St. Olaf College for the fall of 2016. The St. Olaf Oles compete in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Camenga joined the Hawks USP3 team in the 2013-14 season and recorded two goals and nine assists in 37 games. He had his first taste of the Elite division in the 2014-15 season, playing in seven games and tallying one assist, but played most of the year in the USP3 division (2-9-11 in 33 games). This past season, he suited up for 37 games in the Elite division and contributed two goals and ten assists.
Camenga is a native of Boise, ID, and is one of seven Hawks who have announced their college commitments.
