2017 USPHL All Stars Shine Bright for Fans, Family, and Scouts

North Andover, MA (January 16, 2017)- Lucas Michaud and Austin Lemieux each collected four points to lead Team American over Team National in the USPHL All-Star Game at Merrimack College’s Lawler Arena on Monday.
Michaud drew first blood just 32 seconds into the game when he scored from Lemiuex and Austin Goldstein.
The potent trio struck again with 15:33 remaining in the first period when Lemieux scored from Michaud and Goldstein.
Matt Thomson lit the lamp with help from Michal Stinil and Harrison Markell  with 10:18 on the clock.
Kyle Hartman put Team National on the board with 5:38 to go when he scored from Tyler Seltenreich and Kevin Obssuth. Goaltenders Justin Ferguson and Gavin Hubbard kept the teams scoreless for the rest of the frame.
Goldstein extended the lead with 15:10 to play in the second period with help from Michaud and Lemieux.
Lemieux collected his second of the game with 9:51 on the clock when he scored from Goldstein and Michaud. After the goal, Jimmy Poreda came in to replace Hubbard, who made 13 saves in his appearance.
Poreda and Elijah Harris held their ground for the remaining minutes of the second period.
Michal Stinil started off the scoring in the third period when he lit the lamp with help from JJ Layton with 18:32 remaining.
Harrison Markell scored from Jack Quinlivan and Guus vanNes with 17:05 on the clock.
Quinlivan netted one of his own from Matt Thomson and Charlie Borek with 8:43 to play, and Kevin Hock finished the scoring with 7:08 remaining on a goal from Nick Polsinelli.
Nick Sanford stopped all eight shots he faced in the final frame for Team American.
