The Rockets clinched their spot in the final with a win over the Jersey Hitmen on Friday, while Westchester advanced thanks to a 4-2 win over the PAL Jr. Islanders.
Though new to the USPHL, the New Jersey Rockets organization has enjoyed a long history of developing top players such as former NHL veterans Brian Mullen and Bobby Sanguinetti.
The New Jersey Rockets are founding members of the USPHL High Performance Youth Divisions and are members of the 18-an-under, 16-and-under, and Futures Divisions. Next season, the organization will become a full member of the USPHL and will feature a team in the all-new National Collegiate Development Conference.
