Brandon Rosario, Florida Eels
Rosario had a great weekend against the Palm Beach Hawks where he helped the Eels beat them 6-1 and 7-2. In both games he was able to produce 2 goals and 5 assists for a total of 7 points. Brandon has been a huge part of the Eels success as he is tasked with shutting down the opponents top line every game. (GP-2, G-2, A-5, PTS-7)
Defenseman of the Week
Tyler Romel, Carolina Eagles
Tyler Romel of the Carolina Eagles had a tremendous weekend against the Richmond Generals in a split between the two teams. Romel had a goal and an assist on Saturday in the Eagles 5-4 win over Richmond and scored on the Power Play on Sunday in a 6-5 loss to Richmond. He recorded a Plus 3 for the two games and was matched against key players for Richmond. "I believe Tyler Romel is one of the best defensemen in the league right now. Not only does he bring a 6'4" frame, he can skate well, has pretty good hands and a strong hockey IQ," stated Coach Lincoln Flagg. Tyler is from Pittsboro, North Carolina and played Premier last season for the Springfield Pics. He has some very good academic NCAA D3 schools talking to him right now.

Sam Best, Charlotte Rush
Sam Best made 37 saves on 42 shots he faced in a weekend split with the Hampton Roads Whalers. Best recorded his 11th win on Sunday making some crucial saves early on. He also currently has 11 wins with a 1.61 GAA and .936% with 2 shutouts.
