ESTERO, FL- The Florida Jr. Blades and the USPHL announced early Thursday afternoon that Dawson Zahorian has been named Premier Southeast/Florida Player Of The Week for the defensemen goaltender for the qualifying week ending January 7, 2018.
Zahorian, 6’2, 190-pounds, notched one goal and three assists for the qualifying week at the 2018 Winter Showcase hosted in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
“Dawson had a great weekend overall creating offense for us as well as being steady on the back end,” said head coach Todd Pococke. “He really helped push the pace for us as a whole.”
The Fort Myers native joined the Jr. Blades one game prior to the 2017 Florida Showcase, after playing 15 games with the New Jersey Rockets NCDC division.
