Yesterday marked the 2nd Annual NCDC Futures Draft. The draft consisted of 6 rounds where our NCDC teams had the opportunity to draft some of their upcoming stars.
Our NCDC Division currently consists of the Boston Bandits, Boston Junior Bruins, CT Jr. Rangers, Islanders Hockey Club, Jersey Hitmen, New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, New Jersey Rockets, Northern Cyclones, P.A.L. Junior Islanders, Rochester Monarchs, South Shore Kings and the Syracuse Stars.
Out of all our teams it was the NH Junior Monarchs first time draft as they will be starting their NCDC team in 2018 and Coach Frew stated, “the draft was a great experience. All of the different dynamics are interesting. Seeing the unique strategies used by the other NCDC organizations is captivating. I enjoyed seeing so many fine young student athletes realize the next stage in their pursuit to play college hockey and beyond. We are ecstatic about our selections. Not only did we acquire some great hockey players, but we got kids with excellent character. We had a well thought out plan going in and we stuck to the concept and executed it. I’m looking forward to welcoming our new players and their families to Monarchs Country.”
We are fortunate to be able to provide tuition free hockey to players from all over the US and beyond and we continue to gain unique talent each season.
