The NCDC is proud to announce that Goaltenders, Ryan Glander and Josh Sarlo both have made their commitments for the 2018-19 collegiate season.
Josh Sarlo, a 97 year birthdate, has committed to Tufts University which is part of the NESCAC. Sarlo was acquired via trade from the Northern Cyclones back in the 3rd week of the season. From there, Sarlo was a huge impact for the Monarchs. Sarlo has logged over 1500 minutes posting a 10-15-1 record with .913 save percentage. Sarlo was also named an alternate in the inaugural NCDC All Star game.
Ryan Glander, also a 97 year birthdate, comes from Campbell Hall, NY has decided to take his academic and athletic talents to SUNY Potsdam. Glander has logged 416 minutes posting a .922 save percentage and one shutout.
"Both of these guys are great kids on and off the ice. Josh came in from day one after the trade and really took charge of the back end and has been a very good voice in the locker room. Glander has been great when his number has been called whether in relief or starting and is a top citizen off the ice. I am truly happy for both of these guys as they really have earned these commitments" said Head Coach/GM Dave Leaderer.
