South Shore Kings Premier forward Robbie Holyoke has committed to NCAA Division II Assumption College for the fall of 2018. Holyoke, from Middleboro, MA began his junior career with the Kings in 2016-2017.
Prior to playing for the kings, Holyoke played his high school hockey at Coyle Cassidy. He was a 3 year member of the varsity program and captain his senior year. In his first season with the kings, Holyoke tailed 28 points in 35 games. This season, he finished the regular season with 40 points in 37 games.
Holyoke on his commitment “I decided to commit to Assumption College because everything felt right. It’s a great school, the team is always at the top of the Northeast-10 and the coaching staff was very welcoming to me. I am very excited to be a Greyhound. The Kings were huge in my development over the past 2 years. I wouldn’t be the player I am without the time they’ve put into growing me as a player, on and off the ice. I can’t thank the organization enough.”
“We’re very excited for Robbie. He is everything you want in a hockey player. I am confident Robbie will succeed at the next level. Robbie plays in all three zones and plays a heavy game”, head coach Dan Panciocco.
Congratulations to Robbie and his family on their commitment to Assumption College.
