By Vengeance Staff, 03/24/18, 8:30AM EDT

The Pittsburgh Vengeance organization is proud to announce our U18AAA and U16AAA youth teams will compete in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) for the 2018-2019 season.

The head coach of the U18 team will be Brian Boehm. Brian Ramm will helm the U16 team.

“We feel this is a major step forward for our youth organizations,” said Vengeance GM David Dorsey, “The USPHL is one of the top amateur leagues in the country. We believe the league provides an advancement model that can put more Vengeance players into the college and junior ranks.”

The USPHL is uniquely positioned to facilitate a clear path way for players graduating from Bantam who are looking to progress through Midget and Junior Hockey on to college and professional hockey.  Each division provides a critical step in the progression to fulfilling a player’s ultimate goal of becoming a collegiate or professional hockey player.

Teams have been selected to participate in specific USPHL divisions based upon geography, strong player pools, rink ownership, financial strength and history of success and integrity at the highest level.
