Foxboro, MA - The South Shore Kings are proud to annouce NCDC forward Garrett Devine (Windsor, CO)  has committed to NCAA Division 1 Providence College for the fall of 2018. The Friars compete in Hockey East.

Before coming to South Shore, Devine spent the 2016-2017 at Cushing Academy scoring 5 goals and 10 assists in 32 games played. This past season, Devine appeared in 46 games tallying 12 goals and 16 assists.

"My time with the South Shore Kings was one of the most fun and rewarding seasons I've ever had. The Kings organization was great with me from day 1. Coach Gurskis, Moore, Holske, O'Donnell to Brian McDonough at EPS, I felt everyone always had the best interest in me and were committed to making me the best player I could be. I was surrounded by a great group of teammates who created a culture that pushed each other every single day in the weight room and in practice. Last year with the Kings was one of my greatest experiences I've had as a hockey player and I'm proud to say I'll be a king for life."

"Garrett was arguably our most improved player this past season. He still has a lot of room to grow as a player and with his work ethic there's no telling what the future will hold." - Coach Gurskis

We wish him the best as he continues on his hockey journey at the Division 1 level. Congratulations to Garrett and his family!
