Ricardo Gonzalez Commits To Chatham University

RICARDO GONZALEZ COMMITS TO CHATHAM UNIVERSITY

(GOALTENDER WILL SUIT UP FOR NCAA DIII TEAM)

 

Toledo Ohio:      The Toledo Cherokee proud members of the USPHL Premier (Great Lakes Conference) are excited to announce that goaltender Ricardo Gonzalez has committed to play DIII hockey at Chatham University. 

 

The 21 year old, net minder suited up in 37 games for the Cherokee last season finishing with a record of 11-26-0-0. Gonzalez lead the entire league in minutes played with 2,126.

 

The Davison MI native, finished the 2017-18 season with a 914 save percentage and a 3.95 goals against average.

 

“I am extremely happy for Ricky and his family, he is one of the hardest working kids I have ever coached and he is very deserving of this commitment.” Said General Manager/Head Coach Kenny Miller

 

Chatham University is located in Pittsburgh PA. The Cougars are entering their second season in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference.

 

“The Cougars are not only getting a great goaltender but an even better person, Ricky will be very successful in whatever he chooses to do after college.” Added Miller
