Team Signs 2 Goaltenders to Join Crews between Pipes
The Detroit Fighting Irish announced today that they have signed two goaltenders to round out the teams goaltending squad today. It was announced earlier this month that Goaltender Anthony Crews would be returning and with today's announcement it appears that the teams roster spots for Goaltenders has been filled.
1999 Goaltender Stephen Ward-Brown has signed with the Detroit Fighting Irish for the 2018-2019 season. The Howell Michigan native graduated in June 2017 from Fowlerville High School with All State Academic Honors and played last season with the P.A.L Islanders in the USPHL Premier. "Stephen has all of the qualities on ice and off ice that we expect of a Detroit Fighting Irish team member combined with a good work effort and academic goals to match we look for great thing from Stephen". Jacob Anglin is a 2001 Birthdate and Macomb Township Native whom played last season for LCAHL Midget Champion Macomb Mavericks. He will enter his junior year at Macomb High School. Jacob has great natural instincts and puck awareness combined with excellent foot speed we are very happy to be part of Jacobs development plan Coach Pete Flynn
The Detroit Fighting Irish continue to hold prospects open skates on Tuesdays throughout August at 7:00 pm at the Brownstown Sports Center. The Team 2018-2019 Tryout camp will be held September 4, 5, 6 at Brownstown. For more information and for registration go to the teams website at
