Forward: Filimon Ledenkov, New York Aviators.
The New York Aviators were all over the scoresheet over the weekend, scoring 18 goals. Filimon Ledenkov (‘99/Polotsk, Belarus) racked up three goals and assisted on five others for an eight-point weekend for the Aviators, ranked No. 1 among all Tier-3 junior teams in the nation. Through 17 games, Ledenkov’s 24 assists are tied for second league-wide, and his 31 points rank him sixth overall. Brother Arkhip is third with 36 points.
Defense: Danylo Sukhonos, New York Aviators.
This ‘99 from Odessa, Ukraine, racked up one goal and five assists in the Aviators’ offensive explosion over the weekend. Sukonos had three assists on Saturday and a goal and two assists Sunday. He is now fourth overall in the league among all defensemen scoring, with five goals and 16 assists for 21 points through 16 games.
Goal: Raphael Provencher, Boston Bandits.
This 2000-born goalie from Drummondville, Que., has the best record in the Premier Division at 10-0-1. The eighth, ninth and 10th wins came this weekend against three different teams. He stopped 110 of 111 shots, registering shutouts against Twin City and the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs.
The win over the Monarchs came in the shootout, where he stopped all three shootout attempts for the 1-0 victory. Provencher is fourth in save percentage (.957) and second in goals against average (1.31).
