Congratulations to our latest Players Of the Week winners representing the Midwest West, Midwest East and Great Lakes Divisions.

ForwardTie - Noah McNutt, Motor City Hockey Club; Eric Worre, Minnesota Blue Ox.

McNutt (‘00/Fort Gratiot, Mich.) picked up seven goals and six assists, including two shorthanded goals in three games against the Detroit Fighting Irish and Tri-City IceHawks.

Worre (‘98/Chanhassen, Minn.) scored three goals and two assists, including the OT game-winner for the Blue Ox on Saturday in a split weekend against Midwest West Division rivals the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings.

Defense: Justin Song, Metro Jets.

The Jets defense held the Toledo Cherokee to just 32 combined shots on goal in two wins this past weekend, extending their winning streak to 13 games. Song (‘00/Farmington Hills, Mich.) also scored a goal and added two assists in the weekend sweep, and he now has 10 points through 20 games for the Jets.

Goal: Jeremy Skaife, Lansing Wolves.

Skaife (‘98/Rockville, Md.) had a huge weekend for the Wolves, stopping 71 of 74 shots as the Wolves swept the Wooster Oilers. This included a 40-shot shutout on Sunday. The Wolves sit just four points behind the red-hot Metro Jets, whom the Wolves face Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at their home Summit Sports and Ice Complex. Skaife is a USPHL advancement success story, having moved up from the USPHL Elite Division, where he played last year.
