Congratulations to the Players Of The Week from the USPHL Premier’s Northern Divisions (New England, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic).

Forward: Chance Gorman, New Jersey Rockets.

Gorman (‘99/Clinton, N.J.) helped the Rockets get a huge bounceback upset win over the Skipjacks Hockey Club on Sunday with a pair of assists, and his work as a crucial penalty killer for the Rockets. Gorman leads the Rockets in scoring and has 15 points total. Nine of those points have been registered in the last 10 games going back to Nov. 3.

Defense: Tadeas Pejchal, New Jersey Hitmen.

Pejchal (‘98/Prague, Czech Republic) helped the Hitmen to a sweep of the Jersey Shore Whalers on Nov. 29 and Dec. 2, scoring one goal and adding three assists in the two games. Pejchal is heating up for the Hitmen, as 11 of his 14 points have been scored in the 10 games between Oct. 28 and Dec. 2.

Goal: Nevin Tardif, Islanders Hockey Club.

The Islanders extended their point streak to eight games with a Dec. 1 win over the New England Division-leading Northern Cyclones on Dec. 1 - that would expand to nine games the next day. In their 4-2 win over the Cyclones, Tardif (‘99/Dunstable, Mass.) stopped 42 of 44 shots for the victory.
