Cape Cod Whalers and Eastern Mass. Senators alum Mike Hardman has committed to Boston College.
The skilled forward from Hanover, Mass., is absolutely thrilled to know he will be playing for the Eagles and the legendary Jerry York for potentially the next four seasons.
“I can't wait to be an Eagle for the next four years,” Hardman told USPHL.com and EHFSelects.com. “Ever since I was 5, I always wanted to play at a Beanpot school. My grandfather played at BU, and I was always going to the Hockey East games growing up.
“I visited both [BU and BC], but I just absolutely loved BC. The campus is beautiful, and the hockey facilities are second to none. I also loved the coaching staff with Coach York, Coach [Brendan] Buckley, and Coach [Mike] Ayers.”
Hardman is currently playing in the BCHL for the West Kelowna Warriors.
In addition to his time with the Sens and Whalers, he previously played for the Des Moines Buccaneers, Winchendon Academy and Xaverian High School.
