Nik Allain, of the Boston Junior Bruins, has committed to Yale University, where he will join his father Keith, who is the head coach of the Bulldogs.
He expressed his excitement in a text to USPHL.com recently.
“I’m just really excited about the opportunity to go to Yale,” the 6-foot, 165-pound forward said. “My next challenge is to keep working on my game and write a great application in the fall in order to gain admission. It’s absolutely a dream come true to be able to compete in a Yale uniform.”
The North Branford, Conn., native had eight goals and eight assists in 34 games for the Jr. Bruins this season. He has also played for the Connecticut Jr. Rangers’ USPHL 16U team in 2015-16 and spent two seasons (2016-18) at The Taft School.
