Congratulations to this week’s USPHL Elite Players Of The Week from the Northern Divisions.

Forward: Balint Pakozdi, New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs.

Pakozdi (‘99/Hungary) contributed a hat trick and a pair of assists in a big win over the Springfield Pics last Friday, and he turned around and added a goal and an assist against the Cyclones on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

He has 30 goals and 75 points in 32 games for the Monarchs this season.

Defense: Ryan Sheridan, Northern Cyclones.

Sheridan (‘99/Mission Valejo, Calif.) was the top connector for goal-scoring forwards on the Cyclones last weekend against Hartford, ringing up six assists. His efforts have helped the Cyclones win nine in a row.

Sheridan improved to 20 assists and has 22 points this season in 37 games.

Goal: Ryan Selman, New Jersey Hitmen.

Selman (‘00/Mahwah, N.J.) started this season undefeated between September and October, but missed quite a bit of time between early December and late January.

He’s back now and in top form, having won both of his games since returning to the rotation. This includes a 25-save victory against a Team Beijing that improved dramatically throughout the course of this season. Selman stands at 9-2 for the year.
