The United States Premier Hockey League is excited to announce that the USPHL, and its youth division the Eastern Hockey Federation, have formed a promotional partnership, the fruits of which are already able to be viewed in many cases.
TV ads set to begin Feb. 12
The USPHL and EHF had a production company on site to film several EHF and USPHL teams at Merrimack College on Jan. 24.
The first of a series of 30-second TV ads from this filming will be seen during a commercial break in the Boston Bruins vs. Chicago Blackhawks Original Six matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
We will announce the exact time early next week.
The TV ad features players at almost every level the EHF and USPHL offer, from Mites, Squirts, Peewees, Bantams and Juniors.
Further ads will be released during Bruins games later in February.
Boston Bruins Academy episode
The USPHL was featured during a segment of a recent episode of the youth-geared Bruins Academy TV show.
Eastern Hockey Federation Manager of Media and Communications Matt LaRochelle sat down with current Bruins Noel Acciari and Chris Wagner, both of whom are South Shore Kings alumni to talk about playing for the Kings and how they developed within that model.
There was also a segment in the same episode profiling former New Jersey Hitmen standout Connor Clifton, who earned a nine-game call-up to the Boston Bruins from their AHL affiliate in Providence this season.
There was a lot more of the interview filmed than made it to the show, and those clips will also be available soon.
The USPHL and EHF are sponsoring the Bruins’ scoring updates and end-of-period updates on Twitter and in the Bruins’ Instagram stories.
The USPHL and EHF logos are prominently displayed on a graphic after each Bruins goal and scoring updates at the end of each period, overtime and shootout.
This sponsorship began Jan. 29 and will continue through March 7.
