USPHL Premier: Players Of The Week / Northern Divisions

Congratulations to our USPHL Premier Players Of The Week for the period covering games of Feb. 7-13. 


Forward: Jeromey Rancourt, Twin City Thunder. 

The Thunder’s second place team has recently been spurred along by this local product, a ‘99 from Lewiston, Maine. He scored five goals and four assists in three straight games between Feb. 8-10. This included two goals and two assists in the Friday game, an upset win over the Northern Cyclones. 

He has 38 points in 37 games this season. This includes 13 points scored in his last five games. 


Defense: Tim Hazelton, Connecticut Nighthawks. 

Hazelton (‘98/Commack, N.Y.) posted three goals and four assists in two games, with the three goals all coming in the Nighthawks’ win over the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, which clinched first in the Northeast Division. 

Hazelton is fifth in scoring in the entire Premier Division among defensemen with 43 points in 40 games. 


Goal: Justin Damon, New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs. 

Damon registered three straight shutouts between Feb. 9 and 13, holding the Rochester Jr. Monarchs twice to no goals, and also the tough Boston Bandits. His 1.000 save percentage for the week came from making 70 saves on 70 shots. 

Damon climbed to 10th in the league with a 2.04 goals against average, and he is seventh in save percentage at .940.
