The New Jersey Hitmen finished the regular season on Monday at the South Shore Kings Showcase in high style with a shootout win over a strong Northern Cyclones team.
The Hitmen won the North Division with a 34-8-1-1 and earned an automatic berth to the USPHL Elite Nationals in March in Boston.
Two other teams will play for the other Nationals berth - the New Jersey Rockets will take on the New York Aviators.

Both of those games were at the South Shore Kings Showcase this past weekend.
The Rockets’ showcase record was 6-9-0-1, and they took had a 5-4 loss against the Bandits at the Kings showcase.
Hitmen vs. rest of league
The New Jersey Hitmen finished 10-6-1-1 against non-league opponents, so they do have positive numbers on their side when they get to Nationals.
