By Frank Scarpaci 05/04/2016, 11:45pm EDT

Congratulations to Carl Lindgren as he marks the Eels 15th college commitment for the 2016-17 season. Carl will be attending Northern Illinois University where he will play for their ACHA Div. 2 team. Carl just attended the MR. Mr. Showcase in Madison WI and he posted the best save percentage and the lowest GAA amongst the Junior and college prospects. He did exceptionally well against some very talented players many who were 1995 DOB heading to college in the fall.

Florida Eels' Miller Makes His College Choice

By Frank Scarpaci 04/12/2016, 5:45pm EDT

A huge congratulation goes out to Bryan Miller as he notches the Florida Eels 14th commitment this season. This is especially impressive as Bryan is only a 1997 DOB. He is no doubt one of the Florida Eels top academic students and was accepted by some of the top schools in the USA. Now that says something. Bryan has committed to the University of Florida. He will be studying pre- med with his focus on sports medicine.  As a pre-med student he will have a full load on the academic side so he intelligently and prudently decided to marshal his time and select a solid ACHA program.
