The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) has carved a path all its own.

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) is excited to announce its intention to offer an 11-team, tuition-free division of Junior hockey in 2017-18.

With just a few weeks left before the USPHL Elite Opening game the Detroit Fighting Irish made an announcement that two major pieces of the Offensive puzzle to the 2016-2017 squad have been put into place. The Irish announced today that both Nolan Jakzrewski and Steven Sewell will return to lead the team.

The Detroit Fighting Irish organization goes to great lengths to emphasize that playing for the organization is just more than making a commitment to Junior Hockey. It’s about making a difference in the community and honoring the game by community service and mentorship to youth. During the 2015 season at the invitation of crosstown USPHL partners the Motor City Hawks the Irish were invited to take part in the Winter Classic at the historic Clark Park Arena. The event which was a huge success also fostered a relationship with the Detroit Fighting Irish and the Clark Park Association which is beginning to evolve into a very special relationship for both organizations.
